Let me introduce to you letters of the Russian alphabet. We will learn Russian letters through the closest English equivalent and we will try to read some Russian.

You will be surprised how easily you can read Russian if you know Russian letters. Transition from recognizing individual letters to reading the whole words is much easier in Russian than in English. If you pronounce Russian words letter by letter as they are written in words, you will be very close to the correct pronunciation.

But there are two points that you should know if you want to get perfect Russian pronunciation.
